St. Mary-Stony Hill hosted the Center for Faith Justice’s weeklong summer middle school stewardship experience, ServiceworX, the week of June 27th. Eleven of our 7th and 8th graders attended to complete their stewardship for Confirmation preparation. The students visited service sites in the morning and then met together in the afternoon to pray and discuss Catholic Social Teaching. Among the activities the students participated in were at a food bank; made lunches and assembled meals to be cooked by the homeless; weeded giving gardens and a Church; helped clean and organized programming projects at St. Mary-Stony Hill and Renew International....
