Los Pasados

This past Sunday our Religious Education families took part in a Las Posadas celebration, which is a Mexican Christmas celebration reenacting Joseph and Mary's search for shelter. After hearing gospel readings, Joseph and Mary led the candlelight procession as they looked for shelter in various rooms throughout the parish buildings. They were refused at all the 'inns' around the parish as there was no room for them. At the fifth and final inn, they were welcomed in and all were given a place to stay and refreshments.
