Parish Questionnaire — Part III

Here is what parishioners shared
about Adoration, Homilies, and
the Picnic ...
 There were many events that parishioners shared comments about in the questionnaire. The top five events commented on were Parish Monthly Gatherings, Homilies, Wednesday Adoration, Parish Picnic, and our annual Parish Retreat. 

Here are a few comments provided about Wednesday's Adoration:

•  I also appreciate the Wednesday Adoration … I have made 3, and each of them gives me quiet time with the Lord, which is refreshing in so many ways.
•  By participating in adoration, stations of the cross and other opportunities for reflection and spending time with God, I have become much closer to God.

Here are a few comments about Homilies:

•  The homilies and reading became sources of inspiration, helping me navigate daily challenges with a strengthened spiritual perspective.
•  I consider the daily broadcast as a great start of my day and I get so much our of Msgr. Benwell’s homily.

Here are some comments about the Parish Picnic:

• The parish picnic helped me meet and talk with parishioners whom I did not know before and to talk with and to connect with those whom I do know already. Lots of fun.  
• Parish picnics and retreats offer a wonderful way to meet and grow spiritually with fellow parishioners. If you haven’t had an opportunity to fill out the questionnaire yet, please do so on the parish website!

The top five events mentioned were Parish Monthly Gatherings, Homilies, Wednesday Adoration, Parish Picnic, and our annual Parish Retreat. 

Here are a few comments provided about Parish Monthly Gatherings: 

• The parish monthly gatherings program increased my faith and several new close friends. It also provided spiritual support.  
• My relationship with Jesus is much stronger and closer, resulting in more joy, peace, and fulfillment. I also have closer relationships with other parishioners, which benefits me and them. 

Here are a few comments about the Parish Retreat:  

• Retreat offers a wonderful way to meet and grow spiritually with fellow parishioners. 
• By sharing my faith and learning about the faith of my fellow parishioners, I have grown tremendously spiritually.

What was heard from the Parish Questionaire:  Part I
This summer we offered an opportunity for parishioners through a parish questionnaire that people could answer both online or a handout. This allowed parishioners to share how parish events have impacted their faith journey. We have received many wonderful comments and wanted to share a summary of what was heard...

•  Homilies have a very significant impact on the growth of people’s faith.
•  Wednesday Adoration has an impact on people.
•  The Parish Retreat is having an impact on people.
•  The Parish Monthly Gathering have had a positive impact with people.
•  Our parish social events (picnic/coffee donuts/other) do have a positive impact on people.
