National Day of Prayer

As you probably know, Thursday, May 1, 2025 is the annual National Day of Prayer. All are invited to attend the Somerset County observance of this day at the Somerset County Historic Courthouse steps in Somerville from 6:30-7:30 pm (7-8 pm at Crossroads Community Church, Somerville, if it rains). This is an opportunity for Christians from all over Somerset County to worship and pray together. Reaching across denominational lines, pastors and others from local congregations will be leading prayers for our government, our nation and its leaders, our homes, communities, youth and our institutions. As a community service, we will be collecting food for the Feeding Hands Food Pantry. We will also receive a love offering that will go to the Pioneer Family Success Center (Somerville, NJ) and to defray the costs of the event.
