Meet Our New Youth Minister, Paulina!

Hello! My name is Paulina Garcia and I’m very excited to be part of this beautiful ministry. I am originally from Queretaro Mexico. I grew up in a Catholic family and thanks to my mom I have a special devotion to our Lady of Guadalupe. I arrived in New Jersey in 2021 and I love the life I have created here. My first experience working with youth was when I was in college. I was part of the Youth team of an organization called FEF in Mexico. We oversaw the youth group in which we had to create different events, dynamics, and retreats for the high school teens for a specific region in Queretaro. One year after I arrived in New Jersey, I was invited to be a teacher for the confirmation level at a parish in Hillside as a volunteer. This is going to be my second year, and I really enjoy it. This past spring, I became a Full-time youth minister for Fiat Ventures and it has been a blessing. I’m looking forward to becoming more part of this vibrant community and help to build a solid youth ministry program here at St. Mary’s.
