The Third Sunday of Advent: Bambinelli Sunday

This weekend, we will celebrate Bambinelli Sunday. Pope Francis encourages families to bring the baby Jesus figurine from their crèche scene to Mass for a special blessing. This is a nice reminder to put up your crèche, and talk with your family about what it means, highlighting the humble origins of Christmas, and the meaning of giving. Bambinelli Sunday is a beautiful old Italian tradition, that teaches about the Christ Child, and that all children are precious to God. Please bring the baby Jesus from your family crèche to Mass THIS  weekend — December 14th and 15th for a special blessing and celebrate Bambinelli Sunday with us!
